CAII Roundup

I have been somewhat of a slacker in failing to post some of the other CAII posts recently, so here are some of the more recent posts.

From DeMediacratic Nation  we have a couple of Posts:

Not in My Backyard – Locals Flip over Hiring Hall”

It would appear that what is enough for the gander is NOT goose.

An upscale area in

Southampton Village, NY (I wasn’t aware of anything that wasn’t upscale there, but this sounds to be something that isn’t), has local residents and business owners in tizzy regarding a planned hiring hall for “immigrant laborers.”

Immigration Reform?

When will the politicians wake up?

In answer to that question, they do wake up; think 9/11. But no sooner do they awaken to something, they and the public with the assistance of the “we know everything” MsMEDIA allow themselves to be lulled back into slumber.

Liberally Conservative has a post discussing the correlation of Illegal Immigration and other crimes. and another post which dishes out some well deserved criticism to President Bush about his recent Latin America Trip.

Illegal Immigration and U.S. Crime – Commentary

This will be the year of immigration reform and political bloviating on the campaign trail for presidential aspirants. Weak-kneed politicians on the national and political level have failed the American people and it’s sovereignty for decades by not properly defending our borders to the traffic of illegal immigrants, drug smuggling and other assorted crimes.

The immense population of illegal immigrants, with no exact figure available, is staggering and removing them will be similar to the task of herding cats. Government has caused the problem, while businesses and private individuals have capitalized on a source of low-income workers and nanny’s.

President Bush – Appeasing Mexico

President Bush wrapped up his Latin American trip with a promise to Mexico for immigration reform that is “hated” south of the border.

“My pledge to you and your government, but more important to the people of Mexico, is I’ll work as hard as I possibly can to pass comprehensive immigration reform,” Mr. Bush said during an arrival ceremony that opened two days of meetings with Mexican President Felipe Calderon in this Yucatan Peninsula.

Bear Creek Ledger reports on a very highly rated Black principal that lost his job at a Chicago High School (Curie High School) because 68% of those attending this school are “Hispanic”.  Tell me how Hiring or firing anyone based on nothing more than racial or ethnic background is not racism…

Ethnic/racial percentage determine school officials?

Well, isn’t this interesting.  From Freedom Folks we see a Black principal lose his job at a Chicago High School (Curie High School) because 68% of those attending this school are “Hispanic”.

Showdown at OK Corral (from Chicago Sun-Times):

The highly rated African-American principal of Curie High School remains ousted after the new Hispanic majority on the local school council refused to reverse its vote Saturday under pressure from school and city officials.

GA CrimeWatch has a couple of posts that also examine the relationship of Crime and Illegal Immigration.

Vandals and Video – Illegal Immigrants Caught on Camera & Another Mexican Grow House Busted…

StikNStein blogs about the what the liberal left is saying about the raid on a Massachusetts leather goods manufacturer that netted over 300 illegal immigrants and charges against the owner and managers of the factory.  The left is implying that ICE and Law Enforcement is somehow responsible for any emotional trauma the children of the Illegal Aliens suffer because of the raid… Correct me if I am wrong here but if the children of criminals suffer any emotional trauma as a result of their parents illegal activities shouldn’t the parents of the children bear the responsibility for that “trauma“.

Check out the Stik’s post Protecting the Children of Illegal Immigrants….and other criminals
