Arizona Amber Alert: Mother and Child abducted
Noemi Ramirez’s landlord arrived home to see two men forcing Noemi into a pickup truck and her infant son Isidro already taken and sitting in the back seat, authorities said.
Ramirez was able to relay to her landlord that she believed the men were going to take her to California, authorities said.
The suspected kidnapping happened early this morning in the 100 block of North Crismon Road in East Mesa, but Sheriff’s deputies didn’t hear of the crime until about 2 p.m., authorities said.
Authorities are still trying to sort out why it took so long, said Maricopa County Sheriff’s Office Lt. Paul Chagolla.
The men took Noemi and Isidro in a 1990 extended cab blue Chevy pickup truck, lowered with wide wheels and Arizona license plate 709-SCM, authorities said.
Noemi is 5 feet tall, 170 pounds with black long straight hair wearing black spandex pants with a rose on her leg, authorities said.
Isidro is about two feet tall and 40 pounds, wearing a diaper, authorities said.
One suspect is described as Hispanic, 6 feet tall, 180 pounds and 22 to 24 years old, muscular and light brown pants. The other suspect is only described as Hispanic.
Anyone who sees the vehicle is asked to call 911 immediately or anyone with any information is asked to call the sheriff’s office at (602) 876-1011.
