UN Condemns Israel, ignores Hamas… Big surprise I am sure

The UN General Assembly on Friday night overwhelmingly passed a resolution condemning the errant shelling of a Beit Hanun house which killed some 20 Palestinians.Representatives of 156 countries voted in favor of the resolution, seven objected and six abstained.

Voting “no” were the United States, Israel, Australia, the Marshall Islands, Micronesia, Nauru and Palau. Abstaining were Canada, Ivory Coast, Papua New Guinea, Tonga, Tuvalu and Vanuatu.

It is typically pathetic for the UN to condemn Israel for something they already admitted should not have happened, yet they (the UN) remain consistently silent on the unwillingness of the Palestinian Authority to stop Hamas and other terror groups from launching terror attacks into Israel.  After all if the Palestinians were able to stop the terrorists from attacking Israel to begin with Israel would have no need to conduct any operations in Gaza at all… Bottom line is that Beit Hanun should never have happened Israel has admitted as much It is well past time for the Palestinians to put an end to the conditions that allow tragedies like Beit Hanun to occur.
