China & Japan leaders try to discourage North Korea nuclear test

BEIJING (AP) – The leaders of Japan and China agree that a North Korean nuclear test “cannot be tolerated.”

And they say they’ll work together to persuade North Korea to halt plans for a such a test.
Chinese President Hu Jintao and Japanese Prime Minister Shinzo Abe met today in Beijing.

Afterward, the Japanese leader said the two “saw eye-to-eye,” agreeing that the threatened test would be “a great threat to East Asia and the international community.”

They’re calling on North Korea to return unconditionally to six-party negotiations over its nuclear programs.

Meanwhile, a former South Korean lawmaker says its northern neighbor denies a nuclear test is imminent.

Frankly I think Dear Leader suffers from attention deficit disorder… Whenever he feels he is not getting the attention he deserves he throws a temper tantrum… So is the solution to the North Korea problem Ritalin?
