Dems continue to be the obstructionist party
The past few months it has been abundently clear that John Bolton is exactly what we need as our Ambassador to the UN. Through the North Korean missile tests, the continuing Iranian Nuclear weapons discussions, and the Hamas & Hizbollah Kidnapping spree, Ambassador Bolton has provided a strong blunt voice of US Foreign Policy. Perhaps he has ruffeled the feathers of a few UN Diplomats. More than a few need their feathers ruffeled. He is adamant in demanding UN Reforms, after the Oil for food scandal who could argue otherwise.. If Senate Democrats intend to obstruct his nomination again perhaps it is time to remind those Senators who it is they represent in Congress… (hint it is not the diplomats in the UN)…

Mr. Bolton’s nomination was sent out of the Senate Foreign Relations Committee last year without a positive recommendation after Sen. George V. Voinovich, Ohio Republican, voted against him. Democrats then twice filibustered a vote on his confirmation once the nomination was sent to the Senate floor, forcing President Bush to make a recess appointment to fill the vacancy.

How could they filibuster his nomination? Are they insane? He is just what this country needs at the UN.
If not him, get the UN outta my City!
