Ok This appears to have been a Hoax… Much thanks to Stormwarning for pointing this out to me…
Now whoever started this Hoax is thoroughly disgusting. They obviously have no respect for those who are fighting the fires, and no sympathy for those who have lost homes or loved ones in the fire.
I really hate being taken in by this Hoax and will attempt to better verify my posts in the future.
The wildfires in California that have destroyed over 1500 homes, and forced the evacuation of 1 million people was set by a hispanic separatist group… at least that is the groups claim.. What do you think the odds are that most of the members of this group are here illegally….
Amnesty anyone????
From CNN
Radical Hispanic separatist organization MEChA (”Movimiento Estudiantil Chicano de Aztlan”) is taking responsibility for setting the wildfires in California, confimed Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger.
California officials received a letter earlier today containing photographs of individuals holding Molotov cocktails, then throwing them into dry brush. The faces of the individuals appeared to have been digitally distorted.
Also included was a rambling manifesto, stating that the reason for the act of arson was that “Aztlán belongs to indigenous people, the Chicanas and Chicanos of Aztlán. We are sovereign and not subject to a foreign culture.”
Orange County Fire Battalion Chief Kris Concepcion told CNN that the pattern of wildfires definitely indicates arson.
“The reason we think it is [arson] is because we found multiple points of origin,” Concepcion said. “… Our investigators have confirmed that this is, in fact, arson.”
Concepcion said evidence indicated the arsonists wanted the fire to grow rapidly.

MEChA, Aztlan, take responsibility for wildfires *** HOAX *** — aliens steal relief supplies *** UPDATE ***
UPDATE::: It seems that the MEChA taking responsibility for for setting fires website is a HOAX. This certainly fooled me because the site looked authentic. When a reader called me on it, I thought I had made a simple mistake

The URL and the story is a HOAX…a HOAX. There is no such web site as http://www.cnnheadlienews.com/2007/US/10/25/fire.mecha/index.html
Notice the spelling of “headlienews?”

Ironic that the LA Times seems to have forgotten that illegals exist. In their article calling the evac numbers inflated, they did not even count ONE illegal amongst the evacuees. Can’t have Bush or Arnold getting any credit, now can we? Clearly not at the LA Times.
I would like to know why the Guatemalan who was arrested started a fire. Seems odd, to just start a fire without a reason.

The story is no hoax. The Jew’s that rule this country don’t want any bad press against their slave labor force, so the story has been removed. Freedom of the press my ass!

Krauss:
There are racists and hate speech on both sides of this issue, If you want to make race baiting comments I am sure you can find a blog somewhere that will embrace them. This is not that blog.
As far as the article I originally linked to… the link still works by the way, It is a HOAX. Someone deliberately mirrored the CNN story with a false story about an organized group of Mexicans that deliberately set the fires. There is no evidence that I am aware of that supports that claim, and if there was I would post about it.
Have a nice day

It is indeed a shame that we are too often confused and led astray by those with an agenda of dividing to conquer.
I also find it extremely sad and frightening that I am unable to trust my own government and the media. The Big Bucks people are ruling us all.

RE “I would like to know why the Guatemalan who was arrested started a fire. Seems odd, to just start a fire without a reason.”
Uh, there are things called arson, pyromania, and several other things involving mental disturbances, misdirected rage, sociopathic behavior, and criminal acts.
To my knowledge, the incidence of such behavior among Guatemalans is pretty much the same as among other groups. For further information, please see Knights of the Ku Klux Klan, Reichstag, and Army of God in Uganda.

Per Stormwarning: “There is no such web site as http://www.cnnheadlienews.com/2007/US/10/25/fire.mecha/index.html ”
The website is real enough, it just doesn’t happen to be a real CNN page. ;>)
