Fred Thompson to address illegal immigrantion

Of all the Republican Candidates, Fred Thompson in my opinion one of the best at delivering a speech that can excite the base.  Problem is, since the debate in Michigan he has pretty much been silent, or at least not getting much press time.  Thursday Fred will be speaking in Atlanta on one of the most important issues in this election.

In a first, brief swing through metro Atlanta Thursday, presidential candidate Fred Thompson will press the hot-button issue of illegal immigration in an attempt to separate Republicans in Georgia — and throughout the South — from GOP rivals Rudy Giuliani and Mitt Romney.
