Washington Post Pulls Back Call on Cardin – Steele Refusing to Concede

The Washington Post has put Steele back in play. Michael Steele is refusing to concede because it’s too close to call. Fox and CNN called for Cardin early but that may have been due to poor exit polling, however the remaining districts are in traditionally Blue Districts.

Candidate Cardin Steele	Votes 546,682 480,180	% 52% 46%

There are a couple hundred thousand absentee ballots that still need to be counted and are not reflected in the above results.  Whatever the final outcome of this race… I still feel that Michael Steele was possibly the best candidate from either party in any race this year.
