North Korea conducts successful nuke test

SEOUL, South Korea (AP) — North Korea said Monday it has performed its first-ever nuclear weapons test. The country’s official Korean Central News Agency said the test was performed and there was no radioactive leakage from the site.

What will the UN do now? Issue a few harsh words? Somehow I doubt they will do even that. Probably afraid they will offend some tyrant.

Some other questions that need answered.

How many more do they have
Do they intend to sell the nukes or the technology to others… Hugo Chavez comes to mind.
Are North Korea’s Nukes small enough to be utilized with their ballistic missiles.

It will be interesting to see what the U.N. does Monday morning. Provocative, world changing and serious threat are the terms being used.

Now that’s a Surprise! Kim Jong Il actually apologized for North Korea for conducting nuclear testing?!! He said he didn’t have plans to test anymore. Something just doesn’t sound right about that one.
